Lifetime Achievement Award recipients for Industry and Retail – Padmrashree Prof. Dr. Keiki Rustom Mehta and Mr. Mohammed Sherif.
The Lifetime Achievement award is bestowed upon eminent people in the industry for their distinguished work and achievements. The recipients this year were Prof. Dr. Keiki Rustom Mehta and Mr. Mohammed Sherif for Industry and Retail segments respectively.
Mr. Keiki Rustom Mehta’s long list of degrees speaks volumes of the person. He also has an extensive list of other credentials and accolades, including the Padmashree, awarded by the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Patil in 2008.
Mr. Mohammed Sherif’s contributions are evident not only by his immaculate business sense, but also in terms of the respect that his peers have for him as an individual. It is not often that a first generation optician manages to achieve what he has done.
