Levi’s®, one of the most recognized denim brands in the world, presents the new eyewear collection for Spring/Summer 2021.

Designed and manufactured in partnership with Safilo Group S.p. A, a worldwide leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of sunglasses, the collection is enriched with new edgy, yet timeless sunglasses and optical frames.

The Levi’s® sunglasses and optical frames feature a wide range of functional yet stylish models, evoking the effortless appeal of the California lifestyle and drawing inspiration from the shades of Levi’s® denim collection, paired with warm gradients of gold and silver mirror lenses as well more classic and subtle tones of black, brown or grey.

The new collection introduces the “RESPONSIBLY-MADE” eyewear capsule collection, including a selection of sunglasses crafted in injected bio-based materials derived from sustainable castor oil, in line with the company commitment to help in reducing the impact on the planet by using more responsible methods of production. The collection also includes a range of frames made from Hexetate, an innovative-patented acrylic resin with stronger technical and mechanical properties than acetate for more stable frames. Hexetate is lighter than plastic materials and more comfortable.

The 'Responsibly-made' Eyewear Capsule Collection

Bio-Based Capsule: The first Levi’s® sustainable eyewear capsule collection includes 5 sunglasses made of injected bio-based materials, designed and developed as part of the brand’s “Responsibly-Made.”  The capsule collection includes 3 unisex sunglasses and 2 women sunglasses, made in injected bio-based materials derived from sustainable castor oil: a material that is highly durable and lightweight.
All the styles feature the claim inside the inner temple as well as the plant-based sticker on the lens. This capsule collection will also come in packaging made of sustainable cotton.

The Timeless Icon Collection: Timeless in inspiration and modern in colour, these sunglasses and optical frames are crafted in premium materials such as Hexetate, an innovative-patented acrylic resin with stronger technical and mechanical properties. Dedicated not only to a modern teenager but also to young adults, these styles feature an easy-to-wear and authentic design, marked with the Levi’s® logo on the temple and offered in a classic and subtle colour palette.

The Seasonal Collection: Dedicated to gen Z consumers, the seasonal collection includes sunglasses and optical frames dedicated to style leaders and trendsetters looking for the newest accessories, such as these new on-trend optical frames in lightweight stainless steel: the perfect complement to a young, effortless look. Emphasized by fresh colour combinations inspired by Levi’s® accessories palette, between neon hues on the tips and mirror effects on the lenses.
