Carrera Eyewear On Sets Of The Movie, ‘Control’

CHAMPION-HI-FS-D28JJreHong Kong based director Kenneth Bi (Hong Kong Graffiti – 1995, The Longest Summer – 1999, TheDrummer – 2007) seeks to break Asian cinema with the action thriller movie ‘Control’ this October 2013. Inspired by the noir and neo-noir movies, Control tells the story of a hard working insurance sales agent, Mark (played by Daniel Wu) that finds himself involved in a series of mysterious and dangerous situations. Immerse in an intriguing world created in the wake of the graphic novel imagery, the protagonist is forced to put his life in jeopardy and play risky games in order to protect his family.

Carrera eyewear makes its presence with Daniel Wu (Daniel being the official testimonial of Carrera eyewear) wearing a pair of Carrera 65, a sophisticated square-shaped sunglass with shaded lenses tailored for people who live on the go. The design is focused on smart functionality, drawing from the long history of the brand in sports racing. CARRERA-59-83K-IC-CActress Yao Chen’s character, Jessica (Mark’s childhood sweetheart) wears a pair of historical and iconic Carrera Champion/HI/F/S. This pilot shaped sunglass embodies the timeless and vintage feeling of the first Carrera collections, representing authenticity and craftsmanship.

The character Devil, played by actor Leon Dai, wears a pair of Carrera 59, a stylish square shaped metal sunglass with mirrored lenses. Behind this sharp and masculine frame, the actor plays the role of a mysterious and fierce thug.
