The Dutz designers follow the inspirational style guides of the leading fashion brands closely. Once again, the 2017 spring/summer collection owes its inspiration completely to the modern materials and trendy looks seen on today’s catwalks.
Dutz = colour
The Pantone spring and summer fashion colors vary from brown, orange and yellow to bright aqua-blue and deep dark green. Whether sparkling and optimistic or understated and serene, the color palette is varied. Green and blue in particular play an important role in the Dutz collection, but combinations of fiery orange, flamboyant yellow and striking pink are also featured. In short: more color and therefore more emotion and vitality. Once again this spring, Dutz is all about colour!
Fused Geometrics
Simultaneously retro and modern: that’s how you can best describe the Fused geometrics frames. Pixels, geometry and bright primary colors … a mix and match of graphic motifs and optical lines give these frames an optimistic character.
Striking stripes!
Summer or winter, stripes are popular in every fashion season. So of course we just had to have them in our new collection. Next season we will see this classic style return in the most beautiful types and sizes including vertical, horizontal and diagonal stripes, as well as broad, broken and classic pinstripes. The Dutz designers have tuned in to current trends and given the coming season a graphic look with linear patterns in compelling color combinations. Striking stripes!
Blurred out
Ombre, gradient and overflow: different names for an important spring trend. We call it blurred out! The frames in this series are inspired by the ombre trend, a fashion that we’ve encountered in the past. But we’ve never seen it so strongly as in this season!
Ombre is color gradient that provides depth. The merged hues are applied in all kinds of colors, orientations and shapes, giving an exciting twist to minimalistic and trendy shapes.
Round & round
Round shapes are now a permanent fixture at fashion shows. They are also popular with wearers of glasses the world over. Once again, our designers have successfully cast this classic shape in a contemporary Dutz form, giving us retro-round frames in bold metal structures in bright colors. There are also combinations of colorful acetate with brushed metal. And how about panto glasses with a double bridge and an eye-catching stripe?
