The mood of Genesis Easy is intended as a tribute to the new generation who face life with the right amount of insouciance
The Genesis Easy series of frames were presented at MIDO 2014, with vaguely retro shapes reinterpreted though according to an urban and modern style. The frame fronts, monochrome or barely lightened by a touch of colour, remain solid and understatedly coherent, almost as if to represent an impeccable image of the wearer.
The temples however, display the drive and quirkiness of modern youth. This is why the acetates are overlapped and fused and then hollowed out to reveal the different colour tones, or alternate in a fun series of elements with various effects, patterns or textures.
The colours also play on this duality: black, the symbol of understatement par excellence, is played down with a flash of shocking pink, alternated with white, orange and sage green, while the tobacco colour is broken up on the temples by inserts in wood-effect acetate.
Genesis is the young line of frames, versatile and easy to wear, suitable for every occasion that life may bring.
