Mykita and Moncler’s collaborative Lionel model is inspired by 1950s alpine glacier goggles. It incorporates an ample double bridge and slight temples that represent the modern manifestation of alpine eyewear for life down in the valley. The frame is made of Mylon, a material developed by Mykita, and tries to meet the challenges of mountain ascents and the aesthetic aspirations associated with an urban lifestyle.
