Uniqueness, authenticity and craftsmanship are the underlying characteristics of the sunglass collection with which Tom Rebl makes its debut in the eyewear sector, thanks to the close collaboration with Pregiata Eyewear, which designs, produces and sells the brand under license.
The collection, entirely made in Italy, fully reflects the identity of the iconic brand and re-proposes its distinctive features on the eyewear products. Pioneering and cutting-edge, Tom Rebl combines research and tradition, creating an exclusive sunglass collection based on a few but well defined elements. Five models, with iconic shapes and unisex fitting, divided in two highly evocative categories.
Tom Rebl introduced the concept of ‘used look’ with regards to sunglasses: through special surface treatments entirely applied by hand, the collection features exclusive, modern and cutting-edge second-hand looks, re-proposing the worn effect of the leathers used in the clothing collection.
Total black is the colour concept of the collection: using the exclusive bio-acetate M49 by Mazzucchelli, Tom Rebl eyewear simply focuses on the black colour for its debut, reaffirming the expressive power through a search of contrasts and finishes which is able to create a rich and varied colour proposal based on black only, also thanks to the combination with Zeiss sun lenses.
Particular attention was paid to techno details. By focusing on the ‘’tailor-made’’ concept that distinguishes the brand, Tom Rebl transfers the concept of couture to the eyewear sector, creating tailor-made techno details like the hinges in brushed steel, specifically studied and created exclusively for the collection.
To complete the collection, Tom Rebl has conceived a special leather case. Hand made in Italy, each single piece is cut, worked and sewn by hand, to pay homage to the message that Tom Rebl wants to communicate with its creations: pride in being unique.
