Here’s a quick look at three new Nina Ricci optical eyeglass designs from the 2013-2014 Fall-Winter Collection.
These are three modern and self-confident versions of femininity according to the House of Ricci. Often featured on brand creations, the emblematic grosgrain and bow motifs sign each pair of glasses with an immediately recognisable signature.
Updating the lines of an iconic model, Céleste is made from a double layer of acetate which creates a play of colour and relief to accent the high, rectangular frame. The grosgrain ribbon engraved on the metal end pieces adds a final refined touch. These glasses come in a series of resolutely graphic shades: tortoiseshell-black, tortoiseshell-ivory, navy blue-honey and rosewood-flesh.
A very fashionable preppy style characterises Mystérieuse. The small eye-shaped frame affirms a strong personality and is accented with a definitely attention-catching bow detail. This laser-engraved bow, an inescapable symbol of Nina Ricci, adorns the upper part of the temple piece like a discreet jewel. Subtle Mystérieuse is available in black, peach-grenadine, black-taupe and dark tortoiseshell-carmine.
With a butterfly shape and vintage accents, Espiègle is a mischievous evocation of femininity which is both glamorous and contemporary. Like a ribbon taken from a Nina Ricci dress, a metal plate engraved with the grosgrain pattern forms a partial edge on the outside of the temple piece. This creation features four colours: black, dark tortoiseshell, pink fuchsia and pink shading.
