Tom Ford has unveiled its new Autumn-Winter 2014/15 collection of sunglasses and optical frames with the brand’s signature designs. Introducing striking new colours, the collection offers a range of looks, from classic and understated to bold and provocative. Made in Italy, the new Tom Ford collection is crafted from the finest quality materials with impeccable workmanship.
Sunglasses for Women
Women’s sunglasses are made of acetate, combining strong design with classic foundations. The Alana (style 360) takes inspiration from Tom Ford Womenswear, combining assertive lines with graceful strokes. Its voluminous, rounded lenses are rimmed with fine metal and framed in acetate. They float beneath an extra-bold bridge, and the result is a daring and unabashedly feminine look.
The Chiara (359) pushes a circular silhouette to a nearly oval shape. Its rounded frame makes a bold and unconventional statement of style. The Rosie (344) features the signature Tom Ford criss-cross front in a new design with retro influences. Its slightly rounded, butterfly shape is decorated with acetate or fine leather inserts paired with precious metal. The Saskia (330), a modern frame with a vintage inspiration, is offered in a spectrum of unexpected, iridescent colors including violet, green and red, that give the acetate frame its head-turning power.
The cat-eye Priscila (342) and the rounded Milena (343) are adorned with the metal T logo on the temples and are offered in a selection of iridescent shades, such as chalk stripe blue/violet and chalk stripe ivory/white. The Gina frame (345) is a distinctive, casual frame with a refined, cat-eye shape.
Sunglasses for Men
The new sunglasses frames for men are steeped in timeless style. The Kurt (347) has an aviator line and a sporty-chic spirit which is captured in wearable acetate with a metal bridge and T logo. The classic, square-shaped Franklin (346) has a striking, traditional elegance and pairs acetate and metal for a refined look.
