Mykita First introduces two new arrivals
Two new arrivals join the Mykita First collection for kids and teens: Oversize, butterfly sunglasses KEA is sure to set the hearts of all flamboyant mini-divas aflutter, while panto-shaped BELUGA in new soft lacquer International Blue holds a casual, unisex appeal.
Carrying on the distinctive Mykita design aesthetic, First is a range of eyewear models specifically designed for children aged eight and older, the frames are sturdy yet ultimately light. All glasses are sealed with a rubber coating, giving the entire frame a robust and scratch-resistant surface. Selected models feature bright temple tips that simply add to the fun. The sunglasses are fitted with tined ZEISS lenses that provide maximum glare control, plus 100% protection against UV rays.
For the 2016 lookbook, New York-based artist Mark Borthwick photographed a young troupe of adventurers by a lake in the Brandenburg forest near Berlin. Known for his experimental, intimate style, Borthwick perfectly captured the playful, modern Huckleberry Finn mood of the day.
