For the Autumn/Winter 2015/16 season, the #DENIMEYE collection – which has quickly become one of the brand’s most iconic, distinctive lines – is extended and enriched with new shapes and unusual denim work, applied across both sunglasses and optical frames. The models in the collection are created via innovative techniques and taken to the next level through a beguiling mix of different materials and colours for a modern collection with an unconventional appeal. Diesel hits style perfection once again here, pouring every drop of its inimitable identity into this new eyewear collection. The new #DENIMEYE model renews the winning combination of original materials, unexpected shaping and state-of-the-art production techniques. Denim and acetate are two very different materials seen here to merge together effortlessly with great effect! The collection presents a plethora of innovative shapes made exclusive through authentic Diesel denim finishing. The denim is subjected to state-of-the-art processing before being fused with the acetate via cold welding, guaranteed by registered design and patent pending. Colour differences and natural imperfections make each model truly unique, in perfect synergy with the Diesel style.
In this collection, the DL0111 is born of an evocative and unexpected marriage of art and denim. The frames are made unique thanks to the addition of original Diesel denim, which is fused to the acetate using a patented cold welding technique. The wide range of colour combinations allow the models with unusual graphic elements, such as dimpled blue denim combined with semi-transparent blue acetate or innovative blue or grey denim embellished with flecks of coloured paint and paired with black or Havana respectively. A range of colour-blocking versions complete the offering, combining red, purple, ochre and military green denim with mirror lenses in the same colours.
The #DENIMEYE family also expands to welcome two brand new shapes, one for her and one for him. The iconic front section – kitted out in a perfect mix of acetate and denim – is available in the seductive cat-eye (DL0139) or masculine squared (DL0140) versions. The exclusive denim detailing of the DL0111 model is reprised here in fresh colour combinations.
