The Riot of Shades on a Butterfly’s wing, The Hues of God’s Colours from a Setting Sun, A Mother’s face when she’s Smiling…
8 years old Aarya will never experience all these little joys of life. Just because her 1.2 billion fellow Indians are too busy to care. All she is waiting for is for someone to donate her a pair of eyes after their death.
Like Aarya, there are 25 lakh Indians who are corneally blind, which is correctable. However, most of them spend their lives waiting for a cornea since the demand hugely outweighs the supply – a mere 7000 every year. Aarya is banking on you for your help – all she wishes is that you pledge your eyes.
