Barton Perreira debuts their Spring/Summer 2020 collection, with styles exploring the art of fascination, each inspired by some of Patty Perreira’s favourite characters and moments from pop culture and beyond; thoughtfully curated and synchronized into a visionary assortment of handcrafted eyewear. The Spring/Summer campaign, directed by a creative consultant, Hakan Rosenius, evolves Barton Perreira’s “Families” theme into a lush garden setting that nods to moments in our lives that bloom into inspiration. This garden setting also amplifies Barton Perreira’s growing sustainable mindset, demonstrated by responsible manufacturing and product durability, as well as future goals and priorities that Barton Perreira will continue to expand on in the new decade.

Fascinated by a world of characters, moments, and larger-than-life stories, each silhouette’s name references Perreira’s eclectic inspiration. The sleek, bold and glamourous Choupette named after a designer, Karl Lagerfeld’s spoiled feline companion, playfully references the upper echelons of fashion. The Marquee, a classic pilot with layers of craftsmanship; from the adorned enamel overlay to intricate detailing throughout, evokes the golden age of Hollywood red carpet style.

Delicate and playful, the Escapade is constructed of filigree engraved titanium and exceptionally thin acetate; and is offered in new colours such as a blushy pink that Perreira names Frosé. The covetable Domino style, inspired by a Venetian carnival mask is strikingly bevelled and available in the richest acetate colours. The Galore, an upswept, ultra-femme cat-eye silhouette showcases the new colour, Blue Lagoon.
