“We are delighted to confirm our commitment to the Swiss market. Showroom selling to our customers is particularly right here, where we can easily meet and offer highest quality engagement, tell our brand and product stories, and celebrate our eyewear design and craftsmanship since 1878”, says Luisa Delgado, CEO of Safilo Group. “Switzerland is interesting for us, a demanding market very active across all consumer segments. We therefore wish to offer here a more targeted customer partnership in the Atelier and Premium Fashion Luxury segments, expand further our presence in the Contemporary and Lifestyle, and Sports and Outdoor segments, and reaffirm our leadership in Mass Cool – where Polaroid has led for years as the accessible eyewear brand of highest trust for the Swiss people”.

Further strategic locations are planned for 2016 as Safilo balances its global commercial strength, and has re-focused its commercial strategy on brand differentiation, highest qualitative distribution standards, and closer customer partnerships with both independent specialists, chains, department stores, and international duty free, as the foundation for sustainable growth and higher profitability.
