Pierre Cardin presents the new Fall/Winter 2014/2015 eyewear collection: the new sunglasses and optical frames celebrate the House’s stylistic codes with jewel-like detailing, inspired by Mr. Pierre Cardin’s legendary creations, and innovative materials, creating an unending dialogue between the past, the present, and the future.

The women’s models flaunt a classic style, enhanced by sophisticated motifs highlighting the eye, while the men’s glasses are an inspired blend of elegance and functionality.

The color palette explores new, refined combinations, with delicate graduated shading for the women’s eyewear and understated hues for the men’s models.

WOMEN

Mod. P.C. 8421/S

Timeless elegance: these acetate sunglasses are embellished with a jewel-like detail on the temples, inspired by a necklace designed by Mr. Pierre Cardin in the 1970s and enlivened by finely chiseled hexagonal-shaped metal elements, for a three-dimensional effect. The palette includes tones of blue, brown/green, black, Havana.

These cat-eye sunglasses and this optical frame feature a contemporary design, yet convey classic elegance. These models are adorned with a precious mother-of-pearl insert on the temples, which is the result of skilful treatments on the frames, enhanced by nuances of black/Havana, Havana/beige, opal burgundy/red Havana, beige/pink with Havana.

MEN

Mod. P.C. 6804/S and P.C. 6803

These pilot-shaped sunglasses and this rectangular optical frame flaunt a contemporary flair, highlighted by a fine interplay of materials. A wood-effect acetate detail on the temples, framed by thin metal inserts and bearing the Pierre Cardin logo, adds a distinctive touch. The optical frame features the integrated flex hinge, for a pure, essential design and maximum comfort.

Versatile and easy-to-wear, these men’s rectangular-shaped acetate sunglasses can be readily turned into a sophisticated optical frame. The metal temples are decorated with a thin plaque bearing the Pierre Cardin logo, which stands out on nuances of black, dark Havana, transparent blue, brown.
